(More customer reviews)The other reviews are right about the assembly instructions being lax, especially when placing the rounded front mold of the desk. You probably should have a friend or two help out with the assembly - otherwise, make sure you have several hours set aside. Although it's not the prettiest thing in the world, I've had this desk for a year and it's held up well and has done wonders for my organization. BUT if you have toddlers beware because the compartment on the right side is really, really pointy - I have gouged my knee several times and ended up placing bubble wrap on the corner. Why four stars, then? Because it's functional, sturdy, and cheap.
