(More customer reviews)These are the 3rd set of speaker stands I've owned and the best---really easy to assemble out of the box, looks great, and the adjustable spikes provide a very firm grip on your carpet, esp. if you have an uneven floor like mine in which case I just made a few of the spikes longer than the others.If you have tile or wooden floors, these also come with nice flat rubber feet you can use instead.
I was a little worried about how the MDF bottom was going to go with the metal legs but they are perfectly coordinated.
My only complaint: the holes in the one cylinder that is supposed to be used for cable management were too small, didn't fit my 11 gauge flat cables.
And here's a tip: instead of using the rubber squares that these stands come with, it's much better to use Blu-Tack to put your speakers on the top plate with.
These are also a great value for the eight two bucks I paid, including shipping.
