(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful unit however, I received it damaged.The adjustable shelves came damaged. Every corner of each shelf was torn/ripped out of the unit.The 2 "adjustable shelves" which are only adjustable when you un-screw the screws from the shelves and then re-position them into 1 of 2 choices of holes. The piece came assembled but it's clear the shelves should not have been assembled in the unit. I think they would of fared better during transit to have been secured to the wood frame packing form in the box. My new TV was going to be delivered and so I did my best to "Gorilla glue" the broken corners onto the shelves.. I did a pretty good job but STILL...I shouldn't of had to. I called Amazon regarding the issue and was informed to contact the manufacturer. I was requestingreplacment of the shelves that's all.Did that. They wrote back and said Amazon needed to contact them because they did not deal with the customer directly. Several E-mails and phone calls to Amazon later.. The manufacturer says Amazon needs to deal with this and Amazon is willing to send out another console. For most people that would be okay but. That would mean scheduling another delivery with shipper- having to be home half a day for the delivery- unpacking this very large and heavy unit by myself and then re-packing the very heavy, damaged unit back into a card-board box and then waiting for the shipper to come back out and pick up the unit. Hm,m,..really not very tempting. I don't have the space to store another Large console while waiting for the shipper. So I guess I'll just kept the unit I repaired.
