(More customer reviews)I have a 52" LCD hanging on this stand and it's holding it up pretty stable and much better than expected. It is also holding the cable box on the top shelf, a receiver in mid shelf and a 501 CD/DVD Carousel at the bottom with a clean cut look. The cables in the back rail can also be hidden pretty good too. The table in itself is very sturdy and light weight to slice around at the same time even though the package box weights 95 lbs (43.1 Kg). Even with the 52" LCD hanging, the table can still be moved without applying too much force. I strongly recommend sticking round sliders underneath it, if on carpet, or sticking felt, if on ceramics tiles, prior to mount the TV and installing the cables. Although the assembly took me some time, it's not that difficult at all. For security purposes, it's good to assemble it by the book, specially if you are mounting a larger LCD. I did not see necessary to hook the media stand to the back wall because it is very difficult for the stand to fall forward, on the other hand, I found it very easy to fall backward (towards the wall) instead. In conclusion, the stand helps to decorate the living room with a nice contemporary/sophisticated style.
