(More customer reviews)It looks good in the pictures.It actually still looks good put together.But don't expect a sturdy unit that will hold up well or one where you don't feel your expensive HDTV might fall over.
Opening the package, pieces were dented.Amazon did give me a 10% discount for these dents initially (more on this later).The product is made in the fashion of ikea.Screws with tightening bults that are inserted and then tightened.Unfortunately they do not include screws that are long enough if you tighten them to where you would think they need to be.I had to loosen the screws to get it to attach.Unfortunately, one screw refused to cooperate and remained stuck in the wood.It was not stripped, but it did keep turning in the wood without the ability to pull it out more.
I finally got the whole unit together and figured I could live with it.It seemed sturdy enough.But then comes my tv to place on top.I leaned with a few pounds of pressure on the back of the tv stand and the whole top piece leaned back with my tv on top.This to me was just too much a risk.
So with all my effort to live with it, I've returned the unit.Buy at your own risk.
