Pro: well engineered, all pre-drilled holes right on. While pressed board with a dark laminate wood finish, it looks good assembled. I saw assembled tables in $400-700 range that couldn't match the quality of this unit.
Cons: I'm pretty handy with tools, assembling, etc. and it took me 4-5 hrs, but can be assembled by most anyone if you follow the easy to read diagram. Buy a small container of wood glue, you need it, because the 2 tubes sent were rock solid. Have a wet cloth available to wipe off excess glue from surface before it dries as you are required to use about 20 wood dowels in putting some pieces together.
Be careful in middle shelf assembly. If not you end up with unfinished end of middle shelf(just above pull out drawers) facing out. Diagram really doesn't show this potential problem area.
The delivered box weighs about 100 lbs, get help carrying.
When properly assembled, this unit is solid, looks good, and is a buy compared to big-box store tv tables.
