Disclaimer: I did not buy this unit.I did however find a chain store that had this same item as a showroom display so I went to look at it and get measurements. In searching for a TV stand, that is one thing I can't understand, why doesn't everyone put shelf and opening measurements on each listing? So here you go, I measured these quickly with a tape measure in the store, so they may be off slightly, if your items will be a close fit with these measurements, then I would not suggest buying it.(if not for fitting, then for fear of overheating electronics)

Top of unit where your TV would sit = 18.25" deep.
Note: There is a "lip" that is about 1 inch wide and 0.5" high that goes across the front of the unit.I suppose it would be useful to stop marbles from rolling off if the unit is not level??At any rate, it doesn't really subtract from the look, imo, but it doesn't add anything either.

Depth of shelves = 15 inches.(shelving and cabinets are recessed so that the top shelf overhangs them)
Width of top left and top right spaces = 17 5/8"
Width of top center space = 12 5/8"
Height of top row of shelving = 5"
Height of the cabinet doors = 11.75"
Width of middle lower shelves = 24.5"

Shelf in the lower middle has 3 adjustable height positions, it is approximately 5/8" thick and the overall height of the middle lower opening is 11.75" So basically, you have room for 2 - 5.25" units. But what you need to know is that there is a 1.5" tall support brace that goes across the top of this middle opening, presumably to support the top middle shelf? So to get something to fit in that top spot if it is 5" or slightly more in height you would probably have to lower the shelf and then insert your item, then raise the shelf with the item behind that brace.

Hope this helps. I probably would have bought it if it would have been 2-4 inches taller. As it is, the style is great, but the shelving is just too short for my components. And, really, if it was only 1 inch taller, while my stuff would fit, I'd be worried about inadequate air flow. Be prepared to cut more holes in the back "cardboard type material," imo, there are not big enough cut outs to allow for rear ventilation.
